Just like learning the elements of construction, you’re wise to learn the lingo of Internet business, about the tools and resources available to you, about business models, and about successful strategies.

These things are a part of the concept behind this blog. I hope to bring some of the terms, tools, concepts and strategies into the forefront of your awareness to help you have a better understanding of the big picture, in hopes that this knowledge will help you to be more successful with your Internet business.

Obviously, there’s a lot of territory here to cover and it’ll take time. I’m very interested in hearing your requests, questions, comments and feedback which will help me tailor and prioritize the topics discussed here. Let your voice be heard!

The world of e-commerce and Internet business is truly massive. Even those people who have led the industry since its inception admit being somewhat intimidated by its rapidly changing dynamics: What is certain today is anything but certain tomorrow. When your livelihood and lifestyle is dependent upon succeeding in such an unstable world, an active approach to learning and evolving is absolutely necessary. “Grow or die” is a reality. 

The idea for creating this blog has been stewing in my head for a while. Every time I give a presentation or someone asks me a question which triggers the discussion of useful ideas and information I think about how useful it would be to share that information with other people. Each of those instances, especially over the last 6 months or so, has been a contributing spark which has finally ignited into something.

I love educating and training people, it’s really a favorite part of my job. Helping someone navigate such a complex world and training them to be competent, self-sufficient and successful with their Internet business is a rewarding experience. I see this blog as an extension of that element of education, and I’m sure its form will evolve and solidify over time.
